Photo: Cathedral Of St. Nicholas
The first wooden Church on this place was built in 60-ies of the XIX century. From an architectural point of view, it was quadrangular, covered with a domed cupola, attached dining room and a hipped bell tower. In 30-ies of XX century on the wave of struggle against the Church, the Church was closed. But during the war, in 1944, he was returned to the believers, were held services and more the temple was not closed. In the 80-ies of XX century the Church was completely rebuilt and expanded, but the original appearance was carefully maintained. Since 1995 is the Cathedral Church of the diocese.
