The Church of St. Nicholas Chasovenskaya is located in the town of Belev, street K. Marksa, 115A. Temple – brick domed, made in the pseudo-Russian style.

Information relating to the chapel of St. Nicholas, has since the beginning of the XVIII century. The chapel stood on the banks of the Oka, in the place where there was a miraculous appearance of the icon of St. Nicholas. The image of the chapel met even in the sketches of the poet Vasily Andreyevich Zhukovsky. In 69, the year of the nineteenth century the chapel was rebuilt in the small temple, and reached the present time. St. Nicholas chapel was part of Nobel Spaso-Preobrazhensky monastery and was used for Church services.
