Mikhailo-Arkhangelsky monastery was founded in the XIII century, but nowadays the more recent buildings of XVI-XVIII centuries. Over the Holy gates, stands the five-domed Church of St. John the theologian, built in 1670. Inside the Holy gates carved out special niches for Seating weary pilgrims.
