Church of Santa Eulalia is one of the most iconic attractions in Canillo.

The Romanesque parish Church was built in the XI - beginning of XII century the Church was consecrated in honour of Saint Eulalia. After a while, near the Church of Santa Eulalia was built a large 23-metre bell tower in Lombard style, which eventually became the highest bell tower in the entire Principality of Andorra.

The tower consists of three floors. On the first two floors with huge double Windows, through which the inside of the building is exposed to light, the Church had installed a beautiful bell. The third floor has a single window with decorative arcade.

The Romanesque parish Church of Santa Eulalia to the present day retained a small portion of its original architecture. Starting from the XVII century until the twentieth century the Church has been expanded several times and rebuilt. In XIV century the porch was added with arcade.

Of particular interest to visitors and parishioners of the Church of Santa Eulalia causes Roman font, decorated with blind arcading, and Baroque altars, built in XVII – XVIII centuries Altars lit by bright sun rays penetrating through the window openings with stained glass Windows, which were executed by the artist Augusto Rios in the twentieth century

In 1988-1989 the Church of Santa Eulalia was slightly redesigned and expanded. This work was produced by architects Bohigas, Martorell and Mackay.
