The flight Museum in Kotka is located in the hangar Kymi airport next to the runway. Thanks to the Aero club “Kotka”, 15 represented in the Museum aircraft, including rare and are in working condition.
The fighter of Gloucester Gauntlet” is the only aircraft in the world since the Second world war, completely intact and still flying a few times a year. The collection includes also light attack aircraft, a supersonic fighter-bomber, glider, miniature single helicopter and others.
Right from the Museum, passing near the runway, soar high small private planes. Near a monument to military pilots who died during the Second world war.
The Museum is open from may to September. Admission is free, however, donations are welcome for the maintenance and development of the Museum.
