The Park is named after Yanka Kupala in Minsk was broken recently. Before the war it was not. The war left deep scars on the face of the Belarusian capital, in particular, during the bombing was completely destroyed a block of houses on the Bank of the river Svisloch. Among these houses was the home of the national Belarusian poet Yanka Kupala.

The Park was founded in 1949. By 1962, grew young trees, were monuments and walkways. This year the Park and received the honorary name of Yanka Kupala.
The Park has a sculptural composition in tribute to the creativity of Belarusian pesniar Yanka Kupala. Fond of Minsk fountain "Wreath" full of youthful zeal and fun. The plot is that young girls in the pagan holiday of Ivan Kupala, widely celebrated in Belarus, laughing, throwing wreaths into the water. Hair blowing in the wind, graceful and flexible body form a charming composition.
The Park has several small sculptures of stone, and the monument to the Belarusian first printer Francisk Skaryna.
The Park is kept in perfect order. In it planted a large number of rare trees and perennial flowers, regularly planted picturesque colorful flower beds, pleasing to the eye on a summer day.
