City Museum of Rovinj is located on the territory of a luxurious Palace, designed in the Baroque style, which two centuries was the residence of the family of the princes of Caleffi. Dear members of this very rich and very influential family settled in the Croatian town of Rovinj in the period of XVII-XVIII centuries.

The Baroque architecture of the Palace shows perfectly harmonious, sustained, single style period of the Venetian Republic. The building is decorated with Venetian loggia.
