The Institute Dr. Simo Milosevic in Igalo was established in 1949. Located on the street Sava Ilica. Today it is the largest, most famous centre in Mediterranean Europe, providing treatment sanatorium-and-Spa.

Center Milosevic was among the first to apply a complex of both natural and preventive medicine to date. This may also include rehabilitation, thalassotherapy, as well as growing modern concept of Wellness. For these services, the centre has taken a leading position among other world class rehabilitation as older people, children and adults.

The center is a Department of the University of Montenegro, namely the unit of Podgorica-based faculty of medicine. In 1983 the Institute was opened graduate school of therapists taking 35 students annually. The staff of the Institute Simo Milosevic includes more than 50 doctors of various profiles, more than 90 certified nurses, about 180 physiotherapists and a minimum of 16 experts.

Natural treatment, which rely on the specialists of the Institute, helped to gain him an international reputation – old European tradition can be successfully used to treat patients today, despite a wide range of medical problems.
