Telendos is a small Greek island in the southeastern part of the Aegean sea, less than 1 km from the coast of the island of Kalymnos. Before the devastating earthquake in the region in the 6th century BC, Telendos and Kalymnos was one. The island's area is approximately 4, 6 sq. km.

Most of the island of Telendos is a huge mountain, with a maximum height of approximately 460 m above sea level. The only flat land is situated in the southwestern part of the island and is a small oblong toe. In this part of the island and is the only settlement of Telendos is a traditional Greek village with picturesque promenade which is lined with cozy cafes and taverns, and a small harbour where fishing boats are moored and arrive on the island the boat.
