Iguazu falls is located on the eponymous river in South America, on the border of Argentina and Brazil. The name Iguazu with Indian means "big water". The legend says that when God wanted to marry a beautiful aboriginal name for Neipu, she chose to elope with another canoe. God was angry, divided the river and created the waterfalls, condemning escaped to an eternal fall.

Iguazu falls is deservedly called one of the 7 wonders of the world, as it is the largest and most powerful waterfall on Earth (a width of up to 2,700 meters). Options in Iguazu sources are different: the height of the cascades ranges from 72 to 86 meters. Spanish Conquistador don Alvaro núñez Cases de Tank was the first European to discover the falls. Spanish Conquistador was very religious, to see such a Grand phenomenon of nature, he called it the Salto de Santa Maria (Jump St. Mary). But the name caught on.

Now Iguazu is one of the most famous attractions of Brazil. For tourists coming here from all over the world laid bridges with a total length of 2 km, which connect the Islands which jut out from the swirling waters of the abyss. For the preservation of the falls in the future, the governments of Argentina and Brazil issued a decree establishing the national parks of Iguazu. From Brazil 180 thousand hectares were included in the reserve. In the Iguazu national Park grow iron tree, palm trees, inhabited by tapirs, hummingbirds, monkeys and rare butterflies of large size.

Near the waterfall there is a small village, several resorts, including hotels, bars, restaurants and the airport.
