Czech city, founded by the monks and named in their honor, is Mnichovo hradiště, which translated from Czech means "Monastic city". The monks have not play any role in modern life in the city, although the city has several churches, including the building of the former monastery. But his fame as a famous tourist site, interesting travelers, Mnichovo hradiště received thanks to the majestic castle – ancestral nest kind of Wallenstein, the place where is buried the famous representative of this family by the name of Albrecht.

The first mention of this village is about a Young-Boleslaw we find in sources Dating from 1279. By the time the city was already a large village, where fairs were often held.

And then in Mnichovo hradiště castle was built, which laid Vatslov Budovec. After the battle of White mountain Palace in Mnichovo hradiště was given the hero of the time – Albrecht von Wallenstein, who converted the castle into a family, often visited here and took care of him and completed him. Castle only once changed owners – it happened after the second world war, when wealthy families in Communist Czechoslovakia had lost its property. Now the castle was returned to former owners, who founded a Museum, open all year round. After exploring the castle with a visit to the local chapel of St. Anne, in which was buried the most famous occupant of the Palace Mnichovo hradiště – the commander Wallenstein.
