The Church of the Resurrection located in the town of Gorokhovets, Vladimir region. Construction date and author of the modern stone of the temple is unknown. Presumably is 1700.

The Church building – a massive, two-storey, rectangular in plan. The temple stands on a high basement. Three of the apse and porch below the Central volume. Leads to the porch the porch with massive square pillars, decorated his pants.

The Central space of the temple completed five chapters. The roof is hipped. The wall is crowned by a row of decorative corbel arches, which find support on a broad multidisciplinary cornice. The upper row of Windows is semi-circular niches with pronounced bevels down, bottom – in arched niches to the floor. In the porch floor is made from wood. Cons – torispherical, with a sharp strippings above the entrances and Windows. Hall the porch – a tall, elongated from North to South. Windows are placed in a high semi-circular recesses with stucco tape along the contour. All doors are wooden.

Apse – tall, spacious, with strikings and torispherical arch above the Windows. Three niches are arranged on the left side. The floor is made from wood. The walls are whitewashed on painting.

The basement is low, covered with a torispherical arch with stalls on the West and replublik plot. The window openings have very deep slopes. Two southern Windows – grate in the cage. The door of the basement – old, with double vestibule.

Gorokhovetsky Church of the Resurrection is an example of a large five-domed on a developed basement with two-story porches pillarless one-part of the Church without the refectory and bell tower, typical of temples merchant tenements with the peculiarities of religious and residential architecture of the XVII century.
