The adršpach rocks – this is an unusual cluster of rock formations, situated near the town of Broumov and is part of the protected area of Broumovsko. Like any national Park, Broumov is open to the public. But it is very large, consists of several parts, therefore one should not try to see everything at once. Better to start with the most interesting part of the reserve - the adršpach rocks. Their territory covers 17, 72 sq. km.
All walks in the adršpach rocks begin from the settlement of Adršpach. There are ticket offices selling tickets that authorize a visit to the famous cliffs. There's also all give visitors a map marked with major attractions and tourist route. Be prepared to spend in the Park from 3 to 8 hours. It can take so much walk on rocks.
Why thousands of tourists go to the adršpach rocks? In order to see the unusual rock formations of bizarre shapes, numerous caves, deep canyons and waterfalls, located in a stone maze and finding in it the road, focusing on the map. Many of the rocks are given names, and quite poetic: Sugar loaf, Lovers and so on.
Climbers also do not ignore these rocks, which are considered difficult to conquer, but very interesting.
The adršpach rocks were formed very long ago. They are part of the Cretaceous sediments of an ancient sea and towering above the valley at 600 meters. Over their outlines worked the sun and wind.
In the reserve there are several lakes with clear water, which is forbidden to swim, but are allowed to ride on the boat.
