The area of San Pablo in Valladolid is one of the most emblematic places in the city. Starting from the 10th century and for more than 10 centuries, the area of San Pablo was the main square in Valladolid. Today the area is also a major in the city, along with the Plaza de españa and Plaza de Zorrilla.

Piazza San Pablo overlook the facades of several important historic urban buildings. The San Pablo Church, the Royal Palace, the Palace of Pimentel, as well as the Palace of Justice. The facade of the monastery Church of San Pablo is a real decoration of the square. The area is also the intersection of several main streets. On one side of the square the monument to king Philip II, born in Valladolid.
