The mausoleum of Sidi Moreza is the burial place of Abu Mohammed Mahrusa es Sadiki, one of the Islamic saints, patrons of Tunisia. It was he who in the early nineteenth century, coming from the city Ariany (North of Tunisia), gathered on the main square of residents and inspired them with his speeches, so all the men of the city, not relying on the state, has restored at least some of the ancient architectural monuments that were destroyed in the numerous wars with neighboring countries, mainly Turkey, dominant in Tunisia at this time. After the death of the preacher in 1862 the grateful inhabitants of the city built this mausoleum.

The mausoleum is located in the El Hafsia in the North main and the old town square. The building of the mausoleum of Sidi Moreza has a restrained appearance that is characteristic of the Eastern burial structures of the Ottoman style. The feature of this building is nine towering domes. Above the main room of the building is a large white dome, on each side of it are four smaller sizes and a further four at the edges of the roof of the mausoleum. To the mosque built richly decorated prayer hall and a small green garden. The tomb is built in Islamic style and decorated with lettering and murals, which in turn gives a special grandeur to the building. Outside the mausoleum painted white — the color of purity and truth of faith.
