The nature Park "Daugavas Loki" is situated in Daugavpils and Kraslava edges of Latvia on both sides of the river Daugava. Park with an area of 120 sq km was created on 25 February 1990. In the Park there are a lot of cultural and historical values. In total there are 23 valuable archaeological object: jezupova Park, Sekelsky, Sportski parishes, castle Rosleskhoz estates, settlement of Markovo and Macrocycle. In addition, the Park is a model of Dinaburg castle. In the village of Vasarhelyi, there is an observation tower, whose height is 18 meters.

Macrocycle (Staroryazanskoe) the ancient site is located on the right Bank of the Daugava river, about 2.5 km from the railway station Izvolte". It was first described in 1941 by hussar by Arvid Gparam. The first excavations were carried out only in 1986, was directed by Tatiana Berg. The settlement, the size of 60x30 meters, has the shape of an elongated triangle. To create a settlement has been used a natural offshoot of the shore, was also created 3 artificial shaft. The excavation was able to detect only 2-10-inch layer of ash, no evidence of human life, could not be found. It is assumed that the settlement dated to the late iron age (X—XIII century).
