The 42 meter high statue of the deity Murugan — a new landmark of Malaysia. It's the biggest religious sculpture. It is located in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur and represents the Hindu God Murugan (Lord Murugan). Height covered in gold paint statue is 42, 7 m. the Sculpture was installed at the foot of the most famous Hindu temple in Malaysia district of Batu Caves (Batu Caves). Its production lasted 1 550 thousand cubic meters of concrete, 250 tons of steel beams and more than 300 liters of gold paint, specially imported from neighboring Thailand. On the creation of sculpture for three years worked 15 Indian sculptors, as well as 15 local artists and architects.
