One of the oldest local buildings belonging to the Jesuits, and the first structure erected on the territory of the Olomouc Baroque, is a Jesuit Konvikt. In our days it is the center of culture and leisure Olomouc palacký University. There are various public lectures and speeches, which are equipped with a special audience. Sometimes you can see theatrical performances or concerts both beginners and experienced performers. The building of convicta, rebuilt in accordance with modern demands, equipped with a cinema, a theatre stage and exhibition hall located in the attic. On the project of the building of the former Jesuit convent worked for renowned local architect P. Schiller. He also supervised the construction, because sometimes his drawings required further explanation.

Jesuit Konvikt after the departure of the Jesuits from the Czech Republic were owned by the state. At the time there was located a warehouse and a garrison was located.

The complex of the former Jesuit convent is a unique chapel of corpus Christi, dated from the eighteenth century. It was built in the late Baroque style and decorated with beautiful sculptures of saints created by renowned Carver F. Sattler.
