The Museum Arktikum is a Museum and research center dedicated to the study of the Arctic and Northern regions. It presents the history, lifestyle, and culture, traditions and life of the people living in the Arctic circle. The amazingly beautiful roof Arktikum where scientific Arctic centre and Regional Museum of Lapland, there is a permanent exhibition reflecting the nature of these harsh places both in the past and today. While visiting the Museum, you can see the Northern lights in the polar theatre, specially built to demonstrate this phenomenon.
