Vologda gallery "Red Bridge" was established as a nonprofit project in 2003. In December 2005, the gallery settled in the new building on the Waterfront of the 6th Army, near the pedestrian bridge. When the gallery was formed, it was determined the focus of its activities: not only systematic and professionally reasoned exhibition practices, but also the replenishment of the private art collection of XX – early XXI centuries. The exhibition halls of the gallery cover an area of about 800 square meters, are located on ground, first floor and attic area of the building.

Collection gallery introduces visitors to the creative works of artists of different generations. Among the participants and sponsors of the gallery, you can celebrate the artists whose work is based on the traditions of Russian realistic school, underground 1960 – 1970-ies, Petersburg symbolism 1970 – early 1980-ies and the newest trends of the turn of XX and XXI centuries.

Gallery "Red bridge" deals with the preservation of heritage, with due attention and respect to traditions, welcomes and appreciates the work of talented young artists whose work is currently defined different forms and ways of expression. The gallery is actively involved in exhibition and publishing activities, it is high quality video and audio equipment. In the gallery are organized constantly active and periodically updated exposure. Visitors have the opportunity to get acquainted with creative works of painters, photographers, graphs of the Vologda region, Moscow, St. Petersburg and other regions of Russia, but also Europe and America. Currently in the collection of the "red Bridge" about 1000 exhibits of paintings, photographs, graphics.

Gallery "Red Bridge" provides the opportunity to purchase a real antique furniture and furnishings in the salon at the gallery. Unique furniture sets the major European schools of art furniture of yesteryear are a true rarity exhibits cabinetmakers. Noble wood, original inlay, exquisite carving and the quality of the work of old masters make antique furniture authentic family value. The uniqueness of the salon is that this furniture is sold only headsets. This increases its value several times.

In the basement of the gallery "Red Bridge" you can visit the cafe of the same name.
