The national Park of EMAS is located in the Central part of the Savannah highland, in the state of goiás, Brazil. As a protected zone it exists since 1961 and in 2001 UNESCO included it in the list of world heritage. The climate is tropical, the summer is humid and moderately hot and winters are cold.
EMAS rich flora characteristic of wooded savannas. Here you can find round the crowns of the tallest palms in the world to Bubba, which reach up to 75 meters in height.
It is the Savannah Amasa helped many species to survive living organisms during climate change. Currently the reserve is extremely rich fauna. Among the representatives of large animals it is possible to note the great anteater, maned wolf and the Armadillo is the only animal that wears armor.
