In the Eastern part of Alexandria, on the shores of a small Bay, is a Palace and Park complex Montazah. It was created in the late XIX — early XX century as the summer residence of the Egyptian kings. In the architecture of the Grand Palace are closely intertwined elements of Turkish and Florentine schools. In the Small Palace arranged a luxury hotel.

Beautiful Park with an area of about 150 hectares planted with date palms, Mediterranean pine, other conifers. There are a lot of flower beds, gazebos.

The Grand Palace is closed to the public, but the Park and the beach are popular attractions for tourists.
