Mountain, located on the right Bank of Ardema in the Penza region, is a cone-solitary hill, which offers magnificent scenery.

This Penza natural landmark in a relatively small area has a rich flora. Some of the unique species of plants growing on the hill, listed in the Red book of the region. At the foot of the mountain lies a meadow steppe dominated angustifoliate feather. In the spring, during flowering, the base of the hill is a beautiful sight: bright purple curtain sage steppe and stems high turkinskoj lavatera drowning in colourful mixture wildflowers. The air near Ardymskoe mountain filled with the smell of thyme and sage.

The word "Shihan" has many translations to national languages of the peoples living in the Volga region, but the basis is always the word "mount": mount-forest, single hill, rocky hill mountains, etc. and as many other mountains, Ordynski Sheehan is surrounded by numerous legends and stories about Mongolian Khan with untold riches hidden in the mound and ancient burial grounds. Archaeologists and researchers, in turn, claim that the mountain is a remnant created by flowing glacial waters thousands of years ago.

In our days Ordynski Sheehan is a monument of nature and the most beautiful sights of the Penza region. In the Museum Bekovo village are artifacts found during excavations at the foot of the mountain, indicating the livelihoods of people in these parts, from the fourth century BC.
