Koversada is a little island in the Adriatic sea, known for its eponymous resort. From Vrsar island removed at 1, 5 km and is the nearest large town.

The whole history of the island is somehow connected with the above-mentioned resort, because it is the oldest holiday destination of Europeans and not only. For all who are attracted to nudism, Koversada is a kind of the most popular holiday destination on the coast of the Adriatic.

Park Koversada appeared in 1961, because in this period it had become home to a small group of people, for whom the holiday is inextricably linked with the proximity to nature. A little recreation area began to grow and took to the nearby island of continental territory, thereby achieving the lim channel, namely, its southern coast.

Today the natural Park Koversada is a wonderful resort, a total area covers hundreds of hectares and a shoreline length of five kilometers. There is also a sandy beach, which is geographically located on the nearby Peninsula of Istria, which is the mouth of the limfjord. Along the road bands grow Rakita presented, olive and pine trees.

For tourists there are many restaurants (some can go in the Nude), areas for practising all kinds of sports. At a time the resort may take no more than 6 thousand vacationers.

Island beaches were awarded the Blue flag, the sign of the purity of water area and coastal area.
