The Church Of St. Petra Photo: Church Of St. Petra

The Church of St. Peter is very close to the Marienplatz. This is the oldest Church in the city. The modern Church dates from the XIV century and was heavily rebuilt in the seventeenth century, but that place is long standing Christian Church.

The architectural style of the building combines elements of Baroque and late Gothic. The interior of the temple is designed in the Baroque style: majestic choirs, lush decoration of the main altar, gilded chair, painted ceiling and dome.

The height of the bell tower of the temple is 91 meters. People call it "Old Peter". It is an observation deck overlooking the magnificent views of Munich.
