The building of the railway station Baden-Baden is located six kilometers from the centre of the resort town. Due to this significant distance special arrangement of train paths daily in the resort town arrive not only regional trains categories IC, ICE, IR, and international. Among the areas of Basel, Berlin, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Vienna, Paris. The station building belongs to the category of monuments of culture special meaning.

The train station is quite well organized: several platforms, wide platform, tunnel and Luggage storage. In 2010 it was nominated for the contest "Station of the year", noting clean and tidy condition, as well as the necessary infrastructure.

The decision to build the station was made in 1844 due to the large number of tourists. Those wishing to visit the resort were so many that I had to extend the rail line, and a year later was erected the first building. Until 1892, it was a wooden building with a tower, and then on its place a brick building with a length of almost 100 meters with a beautiful facade in neo-Renaissance style. The right wing of the station was reserved for the wealthy passengers, and today the whole territory of the railway station, as the building itself, provide maximum comfort, Baden-Baden, who come to town or leave it, choosing a convenient means of transportation – the train.
