Not far from Madaba is mount nebo, one of the most revered Holy sites of Jordan, the burial place of Moses. The early Christians built a small Church, which eventually turned into a huge temple complex. During his visit to Jordan in 2001, the late Pope John Paul II have read here the sermon, which was attended by 20,000 believers. I can add description
