Extensive five-domed assumption Cathedral on the main square of Kashira was built in 1829-1842, in the Empire style with massive white stone porticos. The Church has two chapels – in the name of the Holy virgin and the Archangel Michael. The three-tiered bell tower of the Cathedral is decorated with decorative carved cornices. Since 30-ies of XX century and up until 1989, the assumption Cathedral was closed and is currently undergoing restoration.

Vvedenskaya Church was built on a Bread square in 1802-1817. Later he built a five-tiered bell tower, to which the merchant Pertseva was built on the sixth tier, and set a clock with chimes. In Soviet times, this Church, like all others, was closed; the interior decoration and wall painting its almost not survived. In 1991 resumed Church services.
