The Tiergarten Park was founded in 1830 as a landscape Park. The Berlin zoo is part of the Park. This is one of the oldest zoos in Germany.

Beautifully decorated open-air enclosures separated from the visitors by moats. Glass wall in the pool for hippos enables the visitor to observe animals not only outdoors, but also underwater. In a huge aquarium to see the sharks and piranhas. The zoo has a reptile zoo and a monkey.
