A reserved area of Chapada DOS Veadeiros is located in the state of goiás and covers an area of 655 sq km Official date of establishment of the Park on January 11, 1961. The Park is a conservation area of Brazil and is included in the UNESCO list as a world heritage site.
Chapada DOS Veadeiros is a plateau, which is 1, 8 billion years. The average annual temperature of 24-26 degrees Celsius, the maximum does not exceed 42 degrees, and the minimum does not fall below 4. The highest point is the peak of the Serra da Santana - 1691 m above sea level. And the total altitude of the Park ranges from 600 to 1650 m above sea level.
