The Neusiedlersee - Seewinkel national Park on the border of Hungary and Austria. The Park is located in the Austrian Burgenland and the Hungarian counties of györ-Bihar and You. In 2001, the Neusiedler see-Seewinkel was inscribed on the world heritage list of UNESCO.

The Park was founded in 1993 by Austria and Hungary in 1991 a portion of their land declared a national Park, which was named Fertö-Hanság Nemzet. The Neusiedlersee-Seewinkel is the first Park in Austria, which is on the territory of several countries. In the territorial composition of Noiseburst-Seewinkel consists of seven administrative districts of Austria: Andou, Illmitz, Apetlon, Weide we see, Podersdorf, Tadten and Neusiedl-am-see. Part of the land is owned, a total fleet of approximately 1,200 land owners.

Part of National Park lands not currently in use. The rest of the land, on the contrary, are cultural Park and are open to tourists. In the Neusiedlersee-Seewinkel many different landscapes: wetlands, grasslands, fields and reed beds, salt lakes. During the seasonal flights of birds of the feathered population in the reserve becomes several times more, which attracts large number of tourists.
