The temple complex of Ggantija is listed in the Guinness book of records as the oldest on the planet, man-made structure dates from 3600-3000 years BC. The temple complex consists of two well-preserved megalithic temples, built of colossal horizontal and vertical blocks of stone, sometimes reaching a height of 7 5 feet and weighing up to 50 tons.

The southern interior of the temple consists of limestone hallway with plastered walls, leading to five apses, where they had altars for animals. In other apses have openings for Oracle and libations. The North temple has a smaller size and four apses.
