Park Kenan is the biggest in the town of Haskovo. This Park is considered as a kind of green lung of the city and a natural barrier against harmful industrial emissions neohim and Volcano, located 15 kilometres North of the town of Dimitrovgrad.

The Park covers an area of 236 hectares and is located North-West of the city. It was created by architects Atanasova and Dzhubalieva in the period between 1955 and 1970 Most of the Park's area (about 70%) is occupied by mixed forests: here you can find oak, ash, wild cherry, Linden, and also planted after 1969 cedars, pines, firs and redwoods. The average age of trees of the Park is approximately sixty to seventy years.

On site there is an artificial pond, along the waterfront, which features benches, playgrounds and sports grounds. Also visitors may be interested in swimming pool, spas, restaurants, and tennis courts.

However, infrastructure does not hurt you to relax in the lap of nature and enjoy the birds singing and the cool shade of trees, without ever losing track of the benefits of civilization.
