The Palace Pauline is a former private residence located on the outskirts of the Polish city of Jelenia góra. In the nineteenth century, the local land was purchased by the famous industrialist Richard von Crust. In 1855 the new owner commissioned renowned gardener Sebingrosso to create a nature reserve. For the future of the Palace was reserved specifically created the Eastern slope of the hill. The construction of the Palace began in 1872 under the leadership of the Saxon architect Kurt State, which gave the appearance of the residence castle. In the twentieth century the Palace was rebuilt twice. In 1906, the upgrade worked, the new owner Oskar Carlo and the architect Carlo Grosseri, who expanded the Palace and gave it an eclectic features. After the death of Oscar Carlo in 1931, the building was purchased by the German labour front, who opened a training center.

In General, despite its short history, the Palace Paulino has witnessed many events. So, in the postwar years, it was important to documentary archives, evacuated from Berlin after the Second world war. Later the Ministry of culture used the Palace for storage and works of art.

In 1964 the building was a fire, during which suffered only roof. After reconstruction, the Palace functioned as a recreation center and a place of creativity for art historians. Later it was converted into officers ' guest house.

In 2002, the Palace Paulino was sold to a private investor. Currently the building has a hotel, restaurant and Spa.
