The Museum of modern art of Ukraine belongs to one of the first private museums in Ukraine. The Museum was through the efforts of philanthropist Sergey Tsyupko, who for twenty years has collected a vast collection of drawing, painting, sculpture, and decorative arts. The Museum was opened in June 2005 in a house located on the street Brotherly, located in the ancient district of Kyiv Podil, has long been associated with the creative environment.
