Street Red already existed from the moment that was founded Ekaterinodar (now Krasnodar), 1867. The street name is an epithet of the most beautiful streets in the city. The street was renamed several times, but in the end still was returned to its original name. After visiting the Ekaterinodar Nicholas II, the street was named Nicholas Avenue. After the revolution the Soviet government again called her red. In 1949, the street was called by the name of Stalin, and twelve years later - again red.
