A unique attraction of Leipzig and the present cultural monument is a historic coffee house called "Zum arabischen coffe Baum". This unusual name comes from the signs, made in 1720, in the Baroque style. It depicts one of the residents of the East, which presents little angel Cup filled with coffee. This sign has a symbolic value: it reflects a real gift that got the West from the East.
Coffee house "Zum arabischen coffe Baum" is considered the oldest in all of Europe, because the first mention of it dates back to 1556.
