The Shevchenko Park is the Museum of folk architecture and life under the open sky, which is one of the most beautiful and picturesque cities of Ukraine - Lviv. Lies this magnificent Park to the East of the High castle. This Park is a favorite place of recreation for both locals and visiting tourists. Because here you can not only enjoy a leisurely stroll in the shade of centenary trees, but also to touch the history.
The Park is divided into zones, each of which represents the life of one or another Western Ukraine. It is noteworthy that all of the exhibits, and it is more than 120 monuments of architecture – real rustic huts, churches, schools, mills that were operating. Them carefully transferred to convection, creating, thus, one of the largest and most beautiful outdoor museums.
The size of the guy is 60 hectares, the greatest value of the Museum is a rural farmhouse with stables, 1812 buildings. No less interesting will be to see Boyko hut 1903. Striking in its architecture and the wooden Church of 1763, which currently represents the national value. There are also more than 20 thousand objects of national life, which are collected from all over Western Ukraine and are carefully protected by the Museum staff.
What else is interesting is the Museum? And the fact that there are no boring rooms with exposed shelves exhibits. There are no queues for tickets or go to the bathroom. Shevchenko guy is like a real village, with hills and lush vegetation of the Carpathian mountains, with huts, Church, school and mill, sawmill, sukkawala. While walking there, you will feel and atmosphere of Ukrainian village. This Museum I'd love to visit both adults and children.
