Mayon volcano is the most active volcano in the Philippine archipelago, located on the Bicol Peninsula near the city of Legazpi. The height of Mayon, which has a nearly perfect conical shape, - 2462 meters, the length of the base 130 km

Despite the danger of the eruption, Mayon volcano is considered an attractive tourist destination – it's located in the national Park Mayon-Volcano, founded in 1938.
