Historical and cultural complex "Stalin Line" was opened on 30 June 2005 at the initiative of the Foundation for the Memory of Afghanistan and supported by the President of the Republic of Belarus. Active participation in the reconstruction of the "Stalin Line" took the engineering units of the armed forces of the Republic of Belarus.

The Stalin line is the largest fortification complex on the territory of the Republic of Belarus. Its total area is almost 26 hectares.

Originally the "Stalin Line" was built before the war in the years 1928-1939 along the border of the USSR before the war from the Karelian isthmus to the shores of the Black Sea with a length of over 1200 km It was never officially called the Stalin Line.
