Architectural reserve in the village of Shiroka Luka is located in the Rhodope mountains, 16 km from the resort of Pamporovo and 23 from the town of Smolyan.
The basis of Shiroka Luka belongs to the XVII century, and the name of the village comes from the old Bulgarian word "bast" which means bending. The architectural appearance of the village is an excellent example of the Bulgarian Revival and thriving folk music culture, which, coupled with scenic places annually attracts many tourists.
