The Steinbach am Attersee is a city located on the Eastern shore of lake Attersee in the Federal state of Upper Austria, is a member of the district of vöcklabruck. Steinbach is located at a height of 509 meters above sea level. On the arms of the Steinbach am Attersee shows a Golden eagle with a red tongue on a blue background.

Steinbach was inhabited in pre-Christian times by the Celts. The first documentary mention of the town refers to 1276 and tells the story of the construction of the Church.

The Steinbach am Attersee is on the shore of a picturesque lake, where in summer there are a variety of excursions can be arranged equipped beach for recreation. In addition to natural attractions noteworthy is the Church of Agios Andreas, which stands on the hill. Here were found during the excavation of the statues of pagan gods.
