Casalmaggiore is a small beautiful town in the province of Cremona in the Italian region Lombardy, attracting tourists monuments of history and architecture and interesting museums. Its origin is still shrouded in mystery. From religious buildings Casalmaggiore worth a visit to Cathedral of Santo Stefano, built in the mid 19th century, standing next to the monastery of Santa Chiara of the 16th century and the temple Fountain, built in 1463, the year the order of the Capuchins.
