Ethnographic complex "Ataman" is the largest and one of a kind open air Museum in Russia. He is on the edge of Taman, in the area of Bald mountain. The tourist complex is a Museum, made in the form of a Cossack village in full size.

Museum-the village was opened in September 2009 In the complex recreates the atmosphere of the Kuban Cossack life. Here have merged together, past and present. Cossack village situated on the shore of the Bay. At the highest point at the entrance is the chapel. On site of about 20 hectares spread over entire streets, were built and equipped: guard tower, main square, market, mill, bridge, Church, tavern, wells, apiary, hitching post, school.

To visitors in the "Ataman" opens the doors of many households and hat (Smith, winemaker, a fisherman, a saddler, fireman, ataman, Cossack village Board, Cossack, weaver, armorer, clerk, and others). Each building has its own history and legends. The guides working in the ethnographic complex, will show the guests the most interesting places and tell a lot of fascinating facts and stories from the life of the village. For horse riding enthusiasts at the entrance on the right is a compound of "Izvozna".

Visitors of the ethnographic complex "Ataman" waiting for a sightseeing walk through the old streets of the village and households, most of which are open for free viewing. Each compound thematic and individual, for example, "in the house of the blacksmith" master in front of visitors will make a commemorative coin, and in the other compound of tourists can learn to bake cakes and pancakes on a real Russian oven. Also here you can try the Kuban cuisine. Above the tourist complex stands a chapel.

Very often on the territory of the ethnographic complex "Ataman" hosts various exhibitions and festivals: "Kuban – artisan", "the Cossack kitchen", "the Legend of Taman" and many others. Guests have the opportunity to participate in games, fun games and comic contests.
