Prague is poor to the fountains, so you can admire Krizik fountains come not only tourists, but residents of the capital. They are in a Park at the Palace of industry, which was built for the world exhibition of 1891. To get to Krizikova fountains, exit at metro station "Nádraží holešovice" and a little walk down the street Vrbenskoho.
The fountains are named after their Creator - františek Křižík. They were built at the same time as the Palace of industry. Reconstruction of fountains was made relatively recently, in 1991 and was dedicated to another exhibition – universal Czechoslovak.
Fountains are a pool h meters, which houses several of the rings-pipes spewing water.
Krizik fountains are difficult, they are singing. In many European cities there is a singing fountain, and attend performances when the water shoots up and falls to the sounds of different musical pieces, absolutely free. In Prague of views Krizikova fountains put on quite a show to purchase tickets. The music ranges from classical to rock ballads. Around the fountains arranged seats for spectators in the form of an amphitheatre, and I must say that they are never empty. It's so nice to walk until late in the evening by the old Prague, and then go on the view singing fountains. The show starts at 20.00 and ends at 23.00. The night passes multiple views with different musical accompaniment.
