Klong Prao beach is the biggest beach on the popular island of Koh Chang, located close to the equally famous White Sand beach. Translated from the Thai name of “Klong Prao beach” means “Coco channel”.

The uniqueness of the beach makes the fact that it is divided into three zones by the Klong PLU waterfall and a river mouth in the South. Much more quiet than the White Sand beach, Klong Prao beach is ideal for those who appreciate a relaxing holiday in peaceful surroundings and magnificent rocky landscapes.

The width of the beach is not great, but all of it is covered with fine white sand. On Klong Prao are Wellness centers and many hotels with their own area near the sea, equipped with restaurants, cafes, swimming pools and relaxation areas. Despite a fair amount of entertainment, they don't bother tourists the noise and bustle, as it happens on other beaches of the island.

In recent years, Klong Prao has become especially popular as a centre of high-quality health treatments.
