Cathedral of the virgin Mary is a neo-Gothic Church located in the center of the Polish city of Radom. The Cathedral was built in 1894-1911, architect Josef Pius Dzikowski.

In 1873 Bishop Joseph Jusinski addressed a letter to the Imperial government with a request to build a new Church, as existing two churches could not accommodate all the parishioners. The city began collecting donations for the future temple. Permission for the construction work was not issued until 1898. In the spring of next year started the erection of the Church, the place was consecrated in September 1899 by Bishop Anthony Francis Adevices. In 1911, the Church held its first service, in spite of internal defects. The organ was installed two years after opening. Internal works were completed in 1918.

In 1936, Bishop Paul kubicki was consecrated five side altars.

During the Second world war the Church was opened as a camp for prisoners of war. German soldiers tried to plunder the Church, however, attempted theft was foiled.

In 1981 by decree of Pope John Paul II, the Church received the status of Cathedral in Radom. In 1989 the Cathedral was carried out restoration work, during which it was replaced by the roof.
