The highest railway station in Europe adorns the city of Samara. The building, built in 2001 by architect J. V. Khramova, has a height of more than a hundred meters, and the area of the entire station complex is more than 32 thousand square meters.

In December 2001, the construction of the building was completed by the opening of the third complex located in the higher part of the station. The building of the Samara station has an observation deck at a height of 95 meters, located on the balcony around the dome.
