Holy Trinity Cathedral, or Church of the Holy Trinity Church – a monument of architecture built in the XVII century in Baroque style in Slonim.

In the XVI century on the site of today's Trinity Church was a wooden Orthodox Church, consecrated in the name of the Holy Trinity. The Church was particularly revered icon of St. Anthony of the caves. In 1596, an Orthodox Church was abolished and dismantled.

In place of Trinity Church in 1645 there was built a stone Church in the Baroque style. Very soon it was organized by the Bernardine monastery. Apart from its religious significance, the Church was built as a defensive structure, as evidenced by an octagonal tower with loopholes. For an early adaptation of the population of Slonim to the Catholic faith, it was decided to celebrate in the Church the feast of Anthony of Padua is the Orthodox feast of St. Anthony of the caves.

Bernardine convent in Slonim was abolished in 1864. The buildings of the monastery and the Church were handed over to the Orthodox Church. After the reconstruction of the temple, he was consecrated as an Orthodox Holy Trinity Church. Was also renewed Orthodox feast of St. Anthony of the caves.

In the 1920-ies, when the Slonim was in Poland, the Church again became Catholic. During the Nazi occupation was resumed Orthodox service in the Church. With the arrival of Soviet troops in the Church, the Church was closed.

In 2002 the Church was completely restored and received the status of Cathedral. Now, the main tower of Holy Trinity Cathedral dressed in scaffolding – is a reconstruction of an ancient temple.
