In Arsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan, in the small village of the Park, immersed in the green of birches and willows, is a memorial complex of Tatar poet Gabdulla Tukai. The complex, founded in 1960, is located at manor Sagdi, restored as a sample Tatar estate of a wealthy peasant of the late 19th - early 20th centuries. The main building is a two-storey wooden mansion whose architecture combines the features of Oriental character with modern style of architecture. Beautiful log home is decorated with fine thin column, crowning the main entrance of the building. The Museum entrance is a monument to Gabdulla Tukai, carried out by project Baki Urmanche sculptor I. Novoseltsev.
Gabdulla Muhamedhanifovich Tukaev (1886-1913.) is the national poet of Tatarstan, social activist, literary critic, translator and essayist. In 1892-1895 years lived in the village Park, the peasant Sagdi, where he joined the peasant's life, which played a crucial role in the life and work of G. Tukay.
In the six halls of the Museum are exhibits on the life and work of the Tatar poet. On the first floor of the building, decorated with ornamental carving, includes early editions of works Tukai, archival photographs and reproductions of pre-revolutionary postcards. On the second floor you can get acquainted with the work of artists and masters of decorative art, which are reflected in the works of the national poet.
Literary-memorial complex is located in a green area of over three acres, on the picturesque Bank of the river and the sunset.
